What is the starting order for ring production in a factory?

Since factories are large enough that too small a quantity cannot be brought on line, manufacturers have a starting order requirement when they take orders.

Every factory has an assembly line that contains many processes.

The process of making a small ring can be up to ten or twenty, depending on the style of craftsmanship of the product.

If the quantity of your order does not meet the factory's requirements, then it is difficult for the factory to take orders. A small quantity is to lose money into it, that's why the factory has a starting order requirement.

So what is the minimum MOQ for ring processing factory to produce rings?

There are two modes of MOQ for Lonceen Jewellery processing rings:

One, the customer himself provides simple pictures or real objects, we are according to the customer's requirements. In this case, our MOQ is at least 200 pieces.

Second, the customers come to our factory to choose the samples, and then place an order for direct production. In this case, our starting order of 100 pieces can be customised.

Maybe many customers will want to understand. Why do you need to provide pictures or samples by yourselves when you have more starting quantity in the beginning?

Because a new product needs to be finished from 3D drawing to sample, then let the customer confirm it.

Each process has to be re-scheduled, so the output is lower and cannot enter the production line.

Since all the samples provided by our factory have already been scheduled in the production line, they are ready to be produced directly.

Therefore, the starting order is less than that provided by customers.

If there is a return order from the customer, we can start from 100 pieces. This number should also be the starting order for most ring factories.

Ring manufacturer's experience tells you that it is better to deal with custom jewellery in smaller quantities, while some factories will lower the minimum starting order of 100 pieces depending on the number of customer's styles.

For certain accessories with a lower unit price or difficult craftsmanship, the factory may require a minimum order of 200 pieces to produce.
