What are the categories of stainless steel necklaces?

Stainless steel necklaces mainly consist of two parts: the chain and the clasp. The chain can either be a repeating pattern of single links or adorned with various gemstones and floral motifs. Today, Lonceen Jewelry Factory introduces five types of stainless steel necklaces.

1. Ingot Chain: Made of stainless steel, the entire necklace consists of a repeating single pattern. Main styles include: whip chain, single set chain, double set chain, triple set chain, fortune chain (also known as square chain), Venetian chain (also known as box chain), cloud chain, S-shaped chain, side chain, basket chain, squirrel chain, cowboy chain, Nk chain, string chain, square wire chain, twist chain, double-file chain, four-file chain, square line chain, bead chain, round bead chain, and more. 

2. Fancy Chain: Made from two or more different styles of stainless steel chains or floral pieces, often inlaid with diamonds or gemstones. Fancy chain styles include: diamond inlaid chain, gemstone inlaid chain, egg-shaped floral chain, fortune and longevity chain, round tube chain, inlaid bead chain, mother-child chain, and others.

3. Multipurpose Chain: These stainless steel necklaces are unique in specifications, craftsmanship, and design. Besides being used as necklaces, they can be easily assembled and disassembled to serve as bracelets, brooches, earrings, etc. For example, removing the short chains from both ends of a multipurpose fancy chain creates two short bracelet chains, and pulling out the pin from the back of the centerpiece inlaid decoration transforms it into a brooch. Multipurpose chains are relatively complex in design and manufacturing.

4. Stainless Steel Choker: This type of necklace is ultra-short, just long enough to encircle the neck, hence also known as a "choker." Its styles are similar to non-gemstone chains.

5. Collar: This jewelry piece resembles a stainless steel necklace but does not have flexible links. Except for the clasp, it has few or no movable joints, making it a stiff stainless steel necklace, also known as a collar.
